ROOFING SYSTEMS

Roofing work managed with attention to the details that determine performance.

Stonebridge provides roofing replacement, repair and rehabilitation for residential and commercial properties.

The approach considers the roof covering together with drainage, penetrations, perimeter conditions, flashings, adjoining walls and the sequencing required to integrate those components.

ROOFING CAPABILITIES

Steep-slope and low-slope construction for a range of property types.

Steep-Slope Roofing

Asphalt-shingle and selected steep-slope roof work involving replacement, repairs, underlayment, flashings, ventilation and related accessories.

Low-Slope Roofing

Selected low-slope membrane roofing replacement, repair and rehabilitation for commercial buildings and community properties.

Targeted Roof Repairs

Repair scopes considered when conditions can be addressed responsibly without overstating the expected service life of the existing system.

Roof-Related Exterior Work

Coordination of wall transitions, penetrations, gutters, drainage, fascia, soffits, trim and other components affected by the roofing scope.

DETAILS THAT MATTER

Most roofing problems develop at transitions—not in the middle of an uninterrupted field.

Roof-to-wall intersections, chimneys, skylights, plumbing penetrations, valleys, eaves, rakes, drains, curbs and perimeter terminations require materials to be sequenced so water is directed onto the drainage plane and away from the building.

Stonebridge evaluates the roofing scope in relation to these adjoining conditions and manages installation with attention to manufacturer requirements, accepted trade practices and project-specific details.

  • Step and counterflashing at roof-to-wall conditions
  • Pipe, vent, curb and equipment penetrations
  • Valleys, saddles and drainage paths
  • Eave, rake, edge-metal and gutter interfaces
  • Low-slope drains, scuppers and perimeter terminations
  • Integration with siding, water-resistive barriers and wall flashings
A COMPLETE CONSTRUCTION SCOPE

The roof covering is only one part of the project.

Preparation

Access planning, protection, material staging, existing-condition documentation and coordination with occupants or operations.

Removal & Substrate

Removal as required, review of exposed substrates, replacement of deteriorated materials within the approved scope and preparation for the new system.

Installation

Underlayment, roof covering or membrane, flashings, penetrations, accessories, ventilation and drainage components installed in sequence.

Quality & Closeout

Field review, correction of outstanding items, cleanup, documentation and organization of applicable product or warranty information.

PROPERTY-SPECIFIC DELIVERY

A roofing project must fit the building and the people who use it.

Residential Roofing

For occupied homes, Stonebridge emphasizes property protection, daily communication, access, debris control and coordination around family routines and adjacent finishes.

Commercial & Community Roofing

For commercial buildings and residential communities, planning may include phasing, resident or tenant communication, parking and access, equipment coordination and work-area turnover.

THE ROOFING PROCESS

Clear decisions before installation reduce avoidable surprises during construction.

Project conversation

Review the property, known concerns, desired timing and available information.

Site and scope review

Consider roof configuration, access, drainage, transitions and visible adjoining conditions.

System and proposal

Define the proposed system, scope, assumptions, exclusions, options and commercial terms.

Preconstruction

Coordinate materials, schedule, access, protection, permits when applicable and communication.

Construction

Manage removal, substrate conditions, installation sequencing, flashings and quality review.

Closeout

Complete punch items, cleanup, documentation and final project communication.

REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT

The appropriate scope depends on condition, risk, compatibility and expected service life.

A localized repair may be appropriate when the affected condition is limited and the remaining roof can reasonably support the work. Broader replacement or rehabilitation may be more appropriate when deterioration is widespread, details are repeatedly failing, materials are incompatible or repairs would provide only limited value.

Stonebridge communicates known limitations and bases recommendations on the construction scope it is being asked to perform. Licensed design or engineering services are coordinated separately when a project requires them.

PLAN YOUR ROOFING PROJECT

Tell us about the roof, the property and the condition you are addressing.

Include the property location, roof type, known leak history, approximate age and desired schedule when that information is available.
